Relaxation/Meditation Workshop with Lynda
Let's begin to remove the mystery about Relaxation and Meditation. We hear so many people say "I can't relax or quiet my mind". Just like anything else that we do that requires our mind and body to connect in a coordinated fashion - it takes practice. We don't start walking as a baby without a lot of attempts that don't quite connect. After many, many tries we develop the connection and coordination to walk. Just like walking, Relaxation and Meditation are something we practice and with practice they come more easily. And then, we begin to reap the abundant health benefits.
You will be guided through the practice of Relaxation and Meditation techniques. Gain an understanding of why our bodies do not cope well with chronic stress and begin to identify your stressors.
$20 per person in studio.
May 3, 9:30. Two hour workshop. Register. (Special Classes/Events)
