This practice follows the standard sequence of Swami Vishu-devananda: balancing forward and backward movement of asana to maintain proper curvature of the spine, asana to keep all systems of the body healthy and to tone and stretch the body. His sequence of movement is a comprehensive series of warm-ups and asana, based on a strong scientific foundation.
As always, you get to decide how much you want to give and what you want to gain. You are encouraged to work at your edge, whatever that is for you. But don't be afraid to just sit down and breathe.
